NES have the expertise to undertake comprehensive Building Surveys of commercial, industrial and high value residential properties with extensive capabilities in advising on research laboratories, medical and educational facilities as well as deep rooted experience within the leisure and hospitality industry. This service can be provided on an individual basis or as part of a large multi-property portfolio. As part of our reporting, we ensure our advice is tailored to our clients in a clear manner that is appropriate to their specific interests.

We are able to provide a full appraisal of any given building including both the building fabric and the building services due to our in-house expertise.

 NES have the knowledge and experience to provide accurate rebuild costs for commercial, industrial and residential properties with extensive capabilities in advising on medical facilities, retail, industrial and office space for insurance purposes. Utilising construction cost data provided by the Building Cost Information Service (BCIS), we are able to ensure that buildings are insured to an appropriate value. 

 NES regularly complete and agree Schedules of Conditions for both commercial and industrial properties. We provide the information in a clear and concise manner that accurately details the condition of the building and its services using our bespoke software. As part of our involvement, we are also able to provide advice on the suitability of further surveys that could limit any potential future liabilities. 

 NES are able to assess the condition of a building and its services, providing an itemised and fully costed maintenance programme to ensure that the building and its services are sufficiently maintained. As part of our involvement, we can also complete a thorough review of any testing certificates, operation and maintenance manuals as well as existing service agreements with suppliers commenting and incorporating our findings within the Maintenance Plan 

 NES can complete detailed surveys of roof(s) and other high-level areas through the use of Drone Survey Inspections - utilising Hi-Resolution 4K aerial footage. Avoiding the need for expensive access equipment, our reports can be provided in a quick, efficient and detailed manner providing reasoned advice as to the existing condition of the building elements as well as detailing any works required. 

 NES have the experience and ability to effectively manage a project from inception through to completion advising on all construction matters, ranging from project feasibility, programming, financial oversight and compliance with statutory matters. We have a track record of successfully managing complex multi-million pound and multi-site projects, working in tandem with a full design team in line with the RIBA Plan of Work 2020.

 NES have the technical knowledge and experience to inspect and report on the workmanship, quality and safety of work throughout the construction phase of a project ensuring compliance with the relevant Approved Documents, Building Regulations, British Standards and relevant Guidance Notes. We pride ourselves on our thorough and diligent approach identifying issues early, to ensure that any potential disruption is minimised and where possible, removed.
